Exceptionally broad flan (which Sellschopp nicknamed "Great Module") that extends past the outer borders in places, the legends 100% complete and the interiors very well detailed (assayer a bit weak), an apparent die-match with Paoletti 67 but on a much larger flan, in fact at 42mm the widest 1st-period 8R we know of, XF+ with traces of luster, tiny speckles of porosity on reverse. Pedigreed to the Ponterio auction of January 2004 (lot 1473).
